Day 3:Your Workouts Are Outdated And Your Body Knows It

Women doing everything they’ve been told to do……and getting worse results.
Not plateaued.Worse. They’re more tired.
More inflamed.
More frustrated.
More disconnected from their bodies.
And almost always?
It comes back to this:
Their workouts are outdated. Let’s be blunt.

THE OLD MODEL (AND WHY IT’S FAILING YOU NOW)
This is what most women were taught:
Burn calories
Punish the body
Earn your food
And for a long time?
That worked then. Why then?
hormones were more stable
recovery was faster
stress load was lower
muscle mass was easier to maintain
But that version of your body? Is not the one you’re living in now.
Now you’re navigating:
hormonal fluctuations
increased cortisol
reduced recovery capacity
higher life stress (work, caregiving, sleep disruption)
And you’re still trying to train like you’re 25. That mismatch? That’s where the breakdown happens. Who wants that??? Not a single one of my clients. Neither do I!
WHAT YOUR BODY ACTUALLY NEEDS NOW
Not more work. Better work. Your body now responds to:
Strength training → to preserve and build muscle
Joint stability → to reduce injury and improve movement quality
Power + control → to maintain function and resilience
Recovery built in → not as an afterthought, but as part of the plan

That’s why they work short-term……and fail long-term.
REAL TALK (THIS PART MATTERS)
If you are leaving every workout:

WHAT I SEE EVERY DAY IN COACHING
Women who say: I just need to push harder. NOPE. NADA. NEIN.
You need to train smarter. The goal is not: how much can I survive today?
It’s how well can I function tomorrow… and next week… and next year?
THE MINIMUM EFFECTIVE APPROACH
This is where most people overcomplicate things.
You don’t need more.
You need better structure.
Start here:
2–3 strength sessions per week
1–2 lower intensity cardio sessions (walking, cycling, steady pace)
Daily movement (walking, mobility, real-life movement)
That’s it.
Not six days of punishment.
Not constant intensity. Not chaos.
Consistency. Structure. Recovery.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
I want you to step back and ask yourself:
Do I feel better or worse after my workouts?
Am I progressing… or just surviving?
Am I building capacity… or draining it?
And if the answer is: I’m just getting through it… then it’s time to change the plan.
Here’s the truth most of the fitness industry won’t say out loud: exhaustion is not a badge of honor. It’s often a sign you’re doing it wrong. Your body is not asking for more punishment. It’s asking for better support.
Better structure. Better strategy. Because we’re not here to break your body down.
We’re here to build it up—properly.
